About Natalie Wittman

Hi Lovely People!

My name is Natalie Wittman. It is my personal mission, to work with you to help you to create YOUR vision of where you would like your life to go and what you would like your life to look like.

I want to get to know your goals, your dreams, and more than anything,

I want to see the fire in your eyes when you find the force inside of you that feels like an oasis to you.

I never, not even for a second, take for granted, the true privilege and gift that each and everyone of you give to me, to be the person whom you allow to enter into one of the most sacred and vulnerable places that you carry with you. What an honor, that you choose me, to be the person to witness you showing up just as you are, in whatever form that may be. I have the best job in the world. Thank you all, so very much, for allowing me to do the work that I feel called to do. As much as you may learn from me, I am learning even more from you.

With so much love & gratitude,

Natalie

I have had over 10 years in the field. Graduated from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame, Indiana in undergraduate, and received masters at Carlow University, while later working towards advancing to receive my license. Early in my career, while in graduate school, I spent the beginning of my work in behavioral health with children who encompass Autism spectrum disorders, oppositional defiant disorders and adhd and provided behavioral interventions for both the children and the family to implement. My work later progressed to working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals with a range of psychotic and mood disorders as well as inpatient hospitals working with dual diagnosis patients (substance use and comorbid mental health). My interest and love for this population peaked my wanting to learn more about addiction and I found myself working at a rehabilitation center where I was both a counselor for detox patients as well as inpatient stay patients. My work in these populations was extremely valuable to me.

Currently, I am living out my dream of being an outpatient, licensed counselor. I have an eclectic approach ranging from person-centered, humanistic, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, CBT, DBT and elements of existentialism. I incorporate narrative therapy, art therapy, EFT, meditation, and some new age CBT. I have a method of adjusting my approach to meet the particular needs of my clients given the individual case and there is no one approach the fits all. Some of my strengths focus in relationship issues and communication challenges that an individual is experiencing, recovering from narcissistic abuse, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and bipolar disorder. Although my belief that we are all people on a continuum of every disorder and just people at the end of the day, I figured I’d lay out a few specifics. I work with couples, individuals, and group therapy.
